Ashton's first day of school

Today Ash had his first day of school=). It was just a trial day to get him re acquainted with everyone. He had a blast with the other kids. He even finger painted (more like body painted). It actually REALLY freaked me out at first, because I had NO idea he would be covered in paint when I stepped outside. He had fun though so that is all that matters =). His teacher took our picture of painted Ash and I (maybe I can get a copy) lol. I love his daycare and everyone there is SO nice. The kids are sweet hearts. This was the last week the kids will all be together, because school starts. So the kids made a cake and had a party. They each got a gift (Ashton got a stacking toy). This place is just a blessing

Anyways -- Ashton decided to walk with his walker again while I was watching Nanny 911 of all things....and there is another video of Ashton rolling around in the laundry.. silly kid


Ashton ate ALL of the corn off of this cob.. I hate feeding him corn (if you are a mom you know why) lol

11 months ALREADY =-o

My baby is almost one! I can't believe it. I was watching him sleep last night and realized how BIG he is now. It is amazing how much they change/grow in just a year!
He just grew in two of his top molars so he was pretty miserable for a couple weeks. SO happy that is over. (for now). He still has a runny nose that just won't go away.
We have been having a fun time visiting friends like Owen and Steff. I have some cute clips on here. It took me awhile to get them on here. I had to change some things and make some clips shorter. Converting them really helps. I am getting DSL tomorrow (so that REALLY helps as well). LOL
Tomorrow Ash is visiting his new daycare for a trial day. Just for a few hours to get to know people. It will be exciting. I will be working there while he gets to know people.
He is still crawling like crazy, but not walking yet. I figure he will be walking very soon. He just wants to crawl right now. He doesn't feel like putting in the work I guess. haha. OH well I am NOT complaining.
School will be starting in a few weeks (ahhh) so that is something to look forward to. Also Harmony's 3rd birthday party on August 23rd and Ashton's first birthday party which is on September 6th. I still have to plan it. I know we are cooking out and swimming, but not sure what else.
Thats it for now... Hope everything is going well for all =)

What a blast we had today. The kids had fun swimming together, than we cooked out and had s'mores. We went for a walk and than the kiddies took a bath. They will sleep good tonight =)

The Boys

Yesterday Libbie and I got the boys together to play. Owen will be two in January (he looks a lot older than 1) and Ash will be one in a month (ALREADY =( ). They are right at that point where they are interacting. They crawl after one another (Owen doesn't want to make Ashton feel bad I guess) all over the place. They even crawl down the hall to Owen's room to play. It is almost like they are gown boys. It is sooo entertaining. AND because the boys keep eachother busy, us girls get to play Wii and have some adult time (if you consider video games adult time).

I can't believe the summer is coming to an end... =( We are enjoying the free days we have. August is crazy and it only gets crazier after that. Ash will be going to school in the fall while mommy goes to school.

Trip to California

Ash and I took a trip to San Francisco California (Novado) to visit our family. Ashton met his grandpa, aunt, uncle, great grandma, and all of his cousins. His cousin Anthony is only a couple days older then him so they had a lot of fun. We rode a ferri into SF with my dad and spent the day there. The Rain Forest Cafe was the coolest thing we saw there. We didn't make it to the beach this year, but hopefully next year =). We had a LOT of fun and miss our fam. Baby jet lag is no fun. Flying in general is no fun for mommy. Oh well it was worth it
